Dapoli Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital was established in the year 1988-89 with Diploma Course (D.H.M.S.) and from 1996-97 onwards the college was upgraded with a Degree Course (B.H.M.S.) affiliated to Mumbai University.
Further, since 1998, our college is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. College is well developed with best spacious infrastructure, adequate latest equipment & personal care towards is students.
From the beginning, our students are showing outstanding merit from time to time at University levels in academics, sports & also cultural faculty.
Hospital
The College has its own 25 beded homoeopathic hospital located in same campus. The hospital has well equipped OPD and IPD including OT section, Labor room, Pathology & Biochemistry Laboratory and Radiology section with ICU.
The Hospital has a store with homoeopathic medicines of all potencies from standardized and approved homoeopathic manufacturing companies for dispensing.

To nurture young aspirants into cultured, ethical ideal homoeopathic physicians by imparting quality medical education, serving the society, nation and humanity.
Vidya Vaibhav Shikshan Mandal
The Vidya Vaibhav Shikshan Mandal, Bhandup, Mumbai is established in the Year 1984. The institute is a very short span of time done tremendous work for the society and particularly economically backward class people in the field of education, social, health and sanitation.
The institute while doing this has started a school “Shivai VidyaMandir” at Bhandup for all children staying in hutment’s of Bhandup. The institute has its own building of six stories well furnished. The institute is giving wide exposure to the students in view of social and cultural activities through various programmes on the national network.
There are no competent medical aid available in many remote villages of Konkan area and the poor people from these villages can not afford the medical facilities available in big cities of Mumbai & Pune because of their economical backwardness.
Considering all these factors the VVSM decided to start a Medical College in rural area like Dapoli. We are very much grateful to the Hon. Chief Minister Shri. Sharad Raoji Pawar for giving us permission to start this Dapoli Homoeopathic Medical College. We are highly obliged and grateful to him.
Campus
Dapoli Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital is situated on 25 acres of land in a remote village At. Apti, Po. Talsure of Dapoli taluka in the district of Ratnagiri. It is situated in a hilly area at a distance of 6 km from Dapoli city in the Konkan region on the west coast of Maharashtra with lush green surroundings in the Sahyadri ranges.
The college campus consists of three buildings covering 11000 sq. ft. with fully established pre-clinical laboratories and an administrative office with a Principal cabin.
The hospital campus consists of four buildings covering 26000 sq. ft. with various clinical departments, wards, and operation theatre.
The college also has its own hostel facility for students on the campus.
Besides this, we also have a pharmacy garden with various medicinal plants grown and nurtured as per the requirements of the curriculum.
Recognition
Dapoli Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital is recognized by the Ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi, and the Central Council of Homoeopathy from the Academic year 1996 to 1997 onwards.

Dapoli Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital is affiliated with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik from the Academic year 1998 to 1999 onwards.
