Dear Students,
I feel immense pleasure as the Principal to welcome all of you to Dapoli Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Dapoli.
Dapoli Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital started imparting quality education in Homoeopathy since 1989 and is affiliated now to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik from 1998 onwards with the kind permission of the Ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi, Govt. of Maharashtra and Central Council of Homoeopathy, New Delhi. The institution is imparting 5 ½ year undergraduate B.H.M.S. course having an intake capacity of 50 students per year.
The main goal and objectives of our institution are to produce homoeopaths who consider the patients holistically as an integral part of a family and community to provide Homoeopathic medical education which aims at maintaining a balance between humanistic medicine and technology. Homoeopathic medical education provide in this college also aims at balancing tertiary care hospital-based and primary care community-based education.
Discipline is maintained at every nook & corner of the entire campus. A Uniform dress code is maintained and strict vigilance under CCTV surveillance to curb the unhealthy trends e.g. ragging etc.
A sincere attempt has been made to meet all the necessary requirements to make the college an ideal one. The entire approach is such as to attract and inspire the students for a deeper drive in the system of homoeopathic medicines to developing this college as a research Centre in Homoeopathy in near future.
